Okay. I thought I was as furious as hell over the East Wing debacle, but this is just the worst. I’m NOT a conspiracy person but this is a perfect set up for “trouble” to be made at the polls next year and the armed troops - put in place by the GOVERNMENT- will fire.
We are still going to resist and demonstrate and for sure we will vote! I come from NE originally and I think I should return so I will be part of the move with all the NE states to join Canada if DJT gets another term. Those wimps in this administration start the trouble and then run for cover. No wonder Trump is rebuilding the bunker.
Silver lining is that they are National Guards, not regular military. If they are drawn from the states to which they are deployed, there is less likelihood that they will violate the rights of non-violent protesters (possibly their neighbors!), or engage in unconstitutional actions, which would also violate their oaths.
I generally agree, at least for most states. There are some places where racism runs so deep that I worry, but I'm much more worried about the people who are signing up to join ICE and Border Patrol, and also about the misleading propaganda videos the regime is using and undoubtedly is working to "improve."
For those of us of a certain age, this is essentially Adolph Hitler all over again.
