The Trump Regime is orchestrating a dangerous power grab in Los Angeles, turning a city of vibrant diversity into a testing ground for a military police state.
Defying California’s sovereignty, President Donald Trump has deployed 2,000 additional National Guard troops and 700 U.S. Marines, following the initial deployment of 1,000 Guardsmen earlier this week. This escalation, targeting peaceful immigration protests sparked by aggressive ICE raids, is a deliberate move to crush dissent and entrench authoritarian control. Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass have condemned this as an unconstitutional assault, with Newsom suing the administration and labeling it a “dictatorial betrayal of our republic.” Local officials assert the protests were manageable until Trump’s forces intervened, inflaming tensions to justify a militarized crackdown.

Orchestrated Chaos and Pardoned Provocateurs
The regime’s tactics are insidious. Credible rumors suggest Trump’s recent pardons of January 6 rioters, including Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio, who was freed on January 20, 2025, for his role in the Capitol attack, are part of a calculated plot. These emboldened extremists are reportedly inciting violence in Los Angeles to create images of anarchy, paving the way to discredit Newsom and Bass, force their resignations, or even justify their arrests. Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric, branding peaceful protesters “insurrectionists” and threatening to jail Newsom and Bass for defending their state, reveals a regime hell-bent on silencing opposition. His “border czar,” Tom Homan, has doubled down, warning of arrests for any who defies federal immigration enforcement. This is not leadership—it’s the blueprint of a tyrant.
Historical Echoes: 1930s Germany and Spain
The parallels to 1930s authoritarianism are chilling. In 1933, Nazi Germany exploited the Reichstag fire to demonize communists, suspend civil liberties, and consolidate power through emergency decrees. In 1936, Spain’s fascist Falange militia provoked street violence to destabilize the republic, providing a pretext for Francisco Franco’s coup under the guise of “restoring order.” Trump’s regime follows this playbook: provoke unrest through ICE raids, deploy pardoned agitators to escalate chaos, then flood the streets with troops to “save” the city from a crisis they engineered. While the U.S. is not yet Weimar Germany or pre-civil war Spain, these tactics signal a deliberate march toward a police state, where dissent is criminalized and democracy is dismantled.
The Insurrection Act: A Looming Threat
Trump’s flirtation with the Insurrection Act, a law reserved for genuine emergencies, is a sword hanging over our democracy. Legal experts warn that invoking it could shred state sovereignty and grant the regime unchecked power to militarize responses to dissent nationwide. Newsom’s warning—“this is a march toward authoritarianism”—is echoed by conservatives alarmed at the politicization of the military. With hundreds of law-abiding Angelenos already arrested and detained during peaceful protests, Los Angeles is a stark warning of what could engulf the nation if Trump’s agenda advances unchecked.
#NoKingsDay: Defying a Regime Primed to Smear Dissent
On Friday, June 14, “No Kings Day” protests will sweep the nation, a coast-to-coast stand against Trump’s authoritarian overreach. Timed with Flag Day, these rallies proclaim that no president is a king. But the Trump regime is poised to weaponize these demonstrations, itching to label any dissent as a “national emergency” threatening the fabric of their rule. In Los Angeles, the regime has already detained hundreds of peaceful protesters, painting them as “insurrectionists” to justify its crackdown. This is a deliberate strategy to vilify dissent and obscure Trump’s failures—economic stagnation, global ridicule, and a crumbling domestic agenda—by cloaking them in the guise of “restoring order.”
As massive No Kings Day rallies take shape across the U.S., from New York to Chicago to Atlanta, the regime may replicate its Los Angeles playbook: provoke unrest, possibly through pardoned extremists like Tarrio, then deploy federal forces to crush protests under the pretext of an “emergency.” Thousands of law-abiding Americans could face mass arrests, tear gas, or worse, as Trump’s regime seeks to project strength while hiding its abysmal governance. The administration’s willingness to harm citizens—through detentions, intimidation, or orchestrated violence—reveals a desperate bid to entrench a police state where critics are silenced and power is absolute. Protesters must remain peaceful to deny the regime its desired chaos. Arm yourself with cameras to expose abuses, stay vigilant for provocateurs, and de-escalate calmly. The regime craves disorder to justify its iron fist; our strength lies in disciplined, nonviolent resistance.
How to Resist:

Expose the Regime: Share this with #NoKingsDay and #StopThePoliceState.
Demand Accountability: Flood Congress with calls to halt this militarization.
Document Abuses: Record every incident to counter the regime’s lies.
A Republic in Peril
Los Angeles is Trump’s laboratory, but the contagion threatens every American city. Deploying troops against citizens, trampling state authority, and detaining hundreds of peaceful protesters are not mere overreaches—they are the scaffolding of a police state. If this succeeds, any community or critic—journalists, lawmakers, or ordinary citizens—could be next. Shit, they already are next. Several journalists were detained in LA yesterday on Trump’s orders. Including one from his least favorite outlet, CNN:
The lessons of 1930s Germany and Spain are stark: democracies crumble when manufactured crises justify authoritarianism, and citizens fail to act. Trump’s regime bets on our silence, hoping fear or apathy will let them tighten the noose.
Final Indictment
The Trump regime’s actions in Los Angeles are a grotesque betrayal of America’s soul. Armored vehicles desecrating city streets, pardoned insurrectionists sowing discord, and threats to jail elected leaders are the acts of a would-be dictator desperate to hide his failures. By labeling dissent a “national emergency,” Trump seeks to crush the spirit of a free people and cement an authoritarian police state. On June 14, No Kings Day, and every day after, we must resist with fierce, peaceful resolve. Share this post, march in solidarity, and demand accountability. History will judge us by our response to this tyranny. Let’s prove that America’s heart still beats for liberty, not subjugation.

Thank you to the 10,000 protestors in L.A. courageously standing the line peacefully. Document everything. We need 100,000 people out there. I know there is exhaustion and fear but this is too important and there is great strength in numbers! This is an evil regime who must be stopped. Be peaceful, be strong, be kind. I stand with you!
Dean! Do me a solid. I was trying to get your attention yesterday on the live. Recall the January 6 Rioters are also murderers. It’s been very conveniently abhorrent that everyone has completely forgotten the trampling death of Roseanne Boyland.
That crowd was not tourists. They were paid for and organized to be there… paid transportation and hotel rooms, by Trump himself.
People were killed under his direction.
Let’s see what happens with her name out there again with your voice …because I had just bought my subscription from you without a discount ….so help a sister out over here! 🤷🏼♀️
Seriously-I just want to hear what people have to say about Roseanne Boyland since she has been indignantly ignored for 4 1/2 years— and I think she has a unique significance in this moment and I hope you agree and are curious as well.
