BREAKING: Trump's Physical And Mental Health Issues On Display at G7 Summit: Leaves A Day Early After Humiliating Himself.
"Unsteady" and "Alarming": Trump left G7 summit early as questions about his declining health ramp up
And just like that, Trump’s 2025 G7 appearance is over:
I LOVE being right:
Officially, the White House blames “Trump has something really big he’s working on, so he had to leave.”
Unofficially, (but more accurately), Trump’s DAY in Alberta was an unmitigated disaster, and his handlers needed to get him out of Canada and away from other world leaders, due to concerns about his physical and mental health, which were on FULL display:
Rumors of Decline: Trump’s Health Speculation Swirls Ahead of the G7 Summit
Donald Trump is very unwell. Dementia. Incontinence, and safeguarding his serious physical and mental decline, is a MAJOR concern for the Trump Regime, the run-up to this year’s G7 Summit in Alberta: widespread speculation about President Donald Trump’s physical health and stamina.
Right from touchdown in Kananaskis, observers were struck by Donald Trump’s unusually disheveled, low-energy appearance and ongoing jackassery. And yes, there was “a smell.”
The former president looked pale and lethargic – “very unwell,” as one report bluntly put it, with speculation swirling about possible “dementia [and] serious physical and mental decline” in the background of his trip. Instead of the bombastic confidence he usually projects, a sickly-looking Trump shuffled into the summit, appearing anything but steady. Five minutes in, Trump’s decline, stupidity, and lies were on full display as he descended into a meltdown upon arrival, with White House staffers on site apparently exchanging worried glances; it was clear this would not be a normal G7.
Slurred speech and fumbles: During his opening remarks, Trump spoke haltingly and slurred some words, at times trailing off mid-sentence. At one point, he dropped a stack of briefing papers, visibly fumbling to recover them as cameras rolled.
He fell asleep less than an hour into kicking off the G7 meetings:
Geographical mix-ups: The president even confused basic country names, at one moment referring to the United Kingdom as “the EU” while discussing trade – a gaffe that drew puzzled looks from other leaders.
“Not all there” vibe: The overall impression, noted one attendee, was of a man not entirely in command of his faculties. This worrying start had insiders in a panic, with reports that Trump’s team was already strategizing how to limit his public exposure at the summit.
And yes, according to insiders, there was an ‘odor’ coming from the President.
Trump refused to participate in even basic discussions, appearing to ignore or misunderstand some proceedings altogether.
An Epic Incoherent Rant Praising Putin – and Bashing Blue States
Trump’s actual remarks stunned fellow leaders and viewers back home. Standing beside Canada’s freshly minted prime minister, Mark Carney, Trump launched into a disjointed monologue that praised Vladimir Putin and inexplicably threatened U.S. states and cities – all in the same breath.
Longing for Russia’s return: Trump complained that Russia should never have been kicked out of the G8, blaming “Barack Obama and a person named Trudeau” for ejecting Putin in 2014. “The G7 used to be the G8… that was a mistake, because I think you wouldn’t have a war right now if you had Russia in,” Trump declared, bizarrely suggesting Putin’s presence would have prevented the Ukraine war. He even mused that if he himself had been president earlier, Russia wouldn’t have invaded Ukraine, crediting his own imagined toughness – a claim French President Macron visibly scoffed at.
Open hostility to allies: As stunned leaders looked on, Trump doubled down on his pro-Russia riff. “They threw Russia out, which I claimed was a very big mistake…you spend so much time talking about Russia [when] he’s no longer at the table,” he griped. The rant left America’s G7 partners slack-jawed.
Targeting U.S. “enemy” cities: In the very same media scrum, Trump abruptly pivoted to domestic politics, bragging about a new push to deport immigrants from Democratic-run “sanctuary cities.” He railed that “most of those people are in…all blue cities, all Democrat-run cities, and they think they’re going to use them to vote. It’s not going to happen”. This incendiary aside – effectively threatening political opponents on an international stage – left Carney and others in disbelief. Even Fox News described Trump’s response as a rambling answer that careened from Russia to ICE raids in the span of a minute.
Such incoherence only amplified concerns about Trump’s faculties. As The New Republic noted, “America’s leader decided to open the G7 with a long complaint…in support of Russia,” forcing Carney to intervene and save face. It was a tantrum on full display – and it wasn’t over yet. It was punctuated by Trump refusing to sign on to a G7 Memo asking Israel and Iran to de-escalate their war immediately for the good of the people in the region. Refusing to comment on it other than to say Israel and Iran have to “fight it out.”
“Major Trade Deal” Mischief – Paper Triumphs and Faux Pas
Amid the chaos, the Trump delegation tried to score a win by touting a new trade achievement, but this too turned into farce. The White House press secretary proudly announced that Trump had “a great day at the G7, even signing a major trade deal with the United Kingdom and Prime Minister Keir Starmer”. Cameras indeed captured Trump and Britain’s PM Starmer inking some document with much fanfare.
It didn’t take long for reporters to discover that this supposed “major deal” was essentially fake. In reality, no substantive new agreement had been reached – Starmer had merely agreed to extend an existing trade arrangement, and Canada’s Carney got only a vague pledge to explore a U.S.-Canada deal in the future. “Aim for a trade deal within 30 days” is not exactly a signed treaty. Trump, it appears, was “signing” a glorified press release. Trump even mislabeled the document he triumphantly brandished as a deal with the “EU” – a detail not lost on the press pool, which circulated close-up photos of the title page with snickering commentary.
Not being physically capable of picking up papers should be concerning to his handlers this morning as well.
Abrupt Exit: “Something Much Bigger” and a Blame Game
After a day of erratic behavior, Trump abruptly announced he would leave the G7 early, skipping the final day’s meetings. The official reason? Escalating conflict in the Middle East – a crisis involving Israel and Iran that indeed loomed large over the talks. “Because of what’s going on in the Middle East, President Trump will be leaving tonight after dinner,” his press secretary posted.
But few were convinced that was the whole story. Trump’s premature departure came shortly after a series of tense exchanges and one truly alarming social media post where he warned, “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!” Rumors swirled in Kananaskis that White House aides were in full damage-control mode, horrified by Trump’s on-camera display and eager to yank him out before things got worse.
Macron diplomatically told reporters that Trump was heading home to work on a potential Iran ceasefire – an attempt to give the U.S. leader a statesmanlike excuse. But from Air Force One, Trump lashed out at Macron’s characterization, clearly irked by any suggestion that he’d been pressured by allies. “Wrong! He has no idea why I am now on my way to Washington,” Trump blasted, insisting his reason for leaving was “certainly not…a ceasefire” and “much bigger than that.”
(So, you know Macron stood up to Trump at some point yesterday, and this is how Trump fires back…)
Health and Cognition Speculation Mounts
Trump’s turbulent G7 showing has now kicked already rampant health speculation into overdrive. Was this just a bad day, or evidence of a deeper decline? Many noted that the 78-year-old Trump visibly struggled in ways he hadn’t before. Public opinion polls taken shortly after the summit found that almost half of Americans believe Trump hasn’t been transparent about his health, and 31% think his age and health are severely affecting his ability to do the job.
Even some experts are speaking out. Dr. Jennifer Mercieca, a prominent rhetoric expert, observed that Trump’s recent “rambling speeches” and stream-of-consciousness answers are classic signs of “potential cognitive decline”, citing how frequently he loses his train of thought and confuses basic facts in public. Such moments, once rare, have become increasingly common.
Trump and his loyalists, of course, deny any issues. The White House physician recently pronounced the president “fully fit” after a physical, and Trump himself bragged, “I got every answer right” on a cognitive test he took earlier this year. But such assurances now ring hollow to many. Even some inside his circle are reportedly worried. According to leaks, top aides have quietly discussed how to handle an “off-script” Trump in high-stakes settings, with one official privately comparing the G7 episode to “walking a tightrope with no net and a catheter”.
White House aids have gone to great lengths to prevent any news of Trump’s steep physical and mental decline from surfacing, but we’re way past that. Trump’s G7 disaster, combined with what we can physically see —real reports, pictures, and firsthand accounts —suggests that Donald Trump is very unwell, and that’s the most likely reason he left Alberta. To hide it all.

Calm Carney vs. Chaos Trump – A Viral Moment Captures the Split
Through all of this, one man stood calmly at the center of the storm: Mark Carney, Canada’s prime minister and the G7 host. Carney became an unlikely social media hero thanks to a brief viral clip. In it, Carney is seen listening to Trump’s off-kilter rant with a look of patient bemusement – at one point casting a viral, subtle smirk to someone off-camera as Trump praises Putin and raves about “Democrat cities.” That micro-expression exploded across Twitter and TikTok.
Carney did more than smirk. He also took charge when things got out of hand. “If you don’t mind, I’m going to exercise my role as G7 chair,” Carney interjected, cutting off the Q&A with a polite but firm thank-you. Trump nodded in approval, seemingly relieved to be rescued from the grilling. It was a striking moment: a Canadian prime minister effectively saving an American president from himself on the world stage.
If He Doesn’t Make it, We Win
In the end, the 2025 G7 summit may be remembered less for its policy outputs (the Trump Regime did nothing other than show up for 10 hours) than for this almost Shakespearean spectacle. On one side, Donald Trump – a once-dominant figure now unraveling in real time, leaving allies and aides in equal parts alarmed and encouraged by the fact that President Dick Head might not make it through his term.
Wouldn’t that be a cryin’ shame…
As soon as I heard he was leaving the summit to return to US regarding the war with Israel and Iran, I knew immediately it was about his physical/mental condition where his "handlers" could not rescue him from himself. They can try and hide it all they want, but we SEE IT! If Biden acted like this, we know the storm that would have been raged by Republicans. I do not believe he will make it past this year to remain in office with this mental and physical decline. But if Vance is thinking "yahoo", he has another thing coming about his potential reign of evil, continuing this fascist dictatorship. We, the American people will not stand for it, as witnessed by our uprising this weekend. Will the Republicans then finally do something moral and just, being free of the threats and chains of DT? It's a dicey dilemma.
The rest of the free world needs to completely ignore Trump and his obvious decline. BTW, Heather Cox Richardson quoted you in her latest Letter. Congrats, Dean!
