#5: The Abrego Garcia Case:

Garcia was removed from Maryland and taken to a maximum-security jail in El Salvador. He is reportedly one of 278 men with no criminal records who were in the U.S. illegally. Concerns were raised about due process, human rights, and a potential conflict between the executive branch and the Supreme Court regarding his return. It was mentioned that a withholding of removal order had previously been in place for Mr. Garcia due to safety concerns in El Salvador.

#4: Hegseth Leaks:

Dan Caldwell, a key advisor to Hegseth, was reportedly walked out of the Pentagon in connection with the unauthorized disclosure of documents.

#3: Canada and the 51st State:

The topic of Canada potentially becoming the 51st state resurfaced during a White House press briefing. CBC reporter Katie Simpson questioned the administration about a perceived shift in rhetoric. Press Secretary Caroline Levitt reportedly stated that Canada remains in favor with President Trump, who believes it should be the 51st state due to its reliance on the U.S. military.

#2: Trump vs. Universities (Harvard):

The show addressed escalating tensions between the Trump administration and universities, particularly Harvard. A letter from President Trump to Harvard reportedly outlined demands related to protests, antisemitism, student admissions, and faculty hiring, linking these to a significant university grant. Harvard reportedly responded by asserting its academic freedom. Subsequently, President Trump reportedly threatened to not only defund Harvard but also remove its tax-exempt status.

#1: Russians Breach DOGE

The top story detailed a report by NPR concerning access to the National Labor Relations Board's (NLRB) sensitive labor systems. This access used DOGE credentials soon and happened directly after DOGE activists achieved "God mode" access of the NLRB.
