🇫🇷 Macron vs MAGA: MAGA Podcaster Candace Owens Just Got Sued By The French President and His Wife. LOL.
France’s President just did what world leaders never do: sued a U.S. right-wing troll in American court. And now, the floodgates might be open—for Obama, Clinton, and Comey to strike back.
When the First Lady of France is accused of being a man named Jean-Michel by a MAGA podcaster, and the president of France sues for defamation in the U.S., you’re not just watching a lawsuit. You’re watching a global legal trap get set—for Trump, and every propagandist orbiting his disinformation death star.
From Birtherism to Brigitte
On Wednesday, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, First Lady Brigitte Macron, filed a 22-count defamation lawsuit against American far-right influencer Candace Owens in Delaware Superior Court. The charge? That Owens launched a sustained, vicious campaign alleging Brigitte Macron is secretly a man named “Jean-Michel Trogneux.”
According to the complaint, Owens ran a “campaign of global humiliation” to boost her podcast traffic by fueling a transphobic, misogynistic, and thoroughly debunked conspiracy that turned France’s First Couple into a meme.
“It is invasive, dehumanizing, and deeply unjust.” — Macron’s complaint
In legal terms: it's an attempt to establish actual malice, the high standard required in U.S. defamation law for public figures. In human terms: it’s a declaration of war on right-wing media’s toxic export economy. And it might be the first of MANY.
Candace Owens’ Reaction: “I'm Being Sued for Having Eyes”
Candace Owens confirmed the lawsuit on Twitter (sorry, X), writing:
“French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron are suing me in the United States of America—because I said his wife is a man. I'm being sued for having eyes.”
Yes, really. Owens went on to claim “everybody knows,” blamed “leftist attacks on gender,” and reasserted that her personal belief is enough to smear anyone, anywhere, with zero evidence. But she forgot one thing:
Delaware isn’t Twitter. And French presidents don’t play.
She’s too busy pumping out anti-Semitic “All Jews Are Bad” content to consider the implications of a lawsuit launched by the President and First Lady of France to have a moment of clarity.
The Lawsuit Heard Round the World
What makes this suit explosive isn’t just the content—it’s the precedent. Heads of state rarely sue private citizens in other countries. Macron just did. In the United States, no less.
He’s not just defending his wife’s honor. He’s calling the bluff of a right-wing propaganda machine that’s been allowed to operate with near-total impunity with ZERO evidence to back up their claims other than “I did a whole series on it.” LOLOL:
And whether Candace Owens realizes it or not, this is a trap—for Trump, for Steve Bannon, for Laura Loomer, Tim Pool, Charlie Kirk, Donald Trump Jr, Tucker Carlson, and anyone else laundering conspiracy into policy.
Trump’s Lawsuits Are Piling Up—But What If the Tables Turned?
Let’s not forget: Trump himself just sued Rupert Murdoch and The Wall Street Journal for calling him out over his Epstein connections. He’s sued CNN. He’s sued journalists. His regime calls everything fake news—while flooding the zone with actual lies about Obama, Clinton, Biden, and the intelligence community.
But Macron just gave the democratic world something rare: a blueprint for legal retaliation.
Imagine this...
Barack Obama sues Trump and Truth Social for decades of birther lies.
Hillary Clinton launches a defamation suit over Trump’s endless “lock her up” smears and the false Russia “invention” narrative.
James Comey and John Brennan team up to file a class action lawsuit for Trump, accusing them of treason—without a shred of evidence.
And the intelligence community itself takes aim at Trump's inner circle for knowingly spreading Putin-backed disinfo.
Now that a sitting head of state has made it “normal” to sue right-wing American propagandists on their own turf, Trump’s empire of slander might finally face a global reckoning.
Let’s Talk “Actual Malice”
Defamation suits by public figures require more than just lies—they require proof the defendant acted with “actual malice”—meaning they knew the claim was false or recklessly disregarded the truth.
Trump has made a career of that.
He claimed Obama founded ISIS.
He said Clinton had people murdered.
He called journalists “enemies of the people.”
He told the world the 2020 election was stolen, despite every advisor saying it wasn’t.
He accused dozens of American officials of treason, including Comey, Brennan, and Schiff.
Each of those is a false, reputation-destroying claim, made to millions, on purpose, for power.
And now, thanks to Macron’s lawsuit, there’s a path and a precedent to hold him accountable.
The Class Action Fantasy That’s Not So Far-Fetched
Imagine a coalition of public figures filing a joint international defamation suit against Trump and MAGA media for knowingly smearing them with baseless accusations of treason, pedophilia, and sedition.
Imagine testimony under oath from:
John Brennan on Russia’s intelligence intercepts.
Hillary Clinton on Benghazi and Pizzagate.
Barack Obama on what it’s like to have your birth certificate weaponized.
Career CIA, DOJ, and FBI officials showing how Trump endangered lives with lies.
And imagine all of it entered into the public record.
Macron Just Lit the Match - LFG
This lawsuit is more than Macron defending his wife. It’s an invitation—to world leaders, to democracy defenders, to truth-tellers—to stop playing nice with the people who try to destroy them.
Candace Owens is the first to face consequences.
Trump may be the last to survive them.
Let’s hope Obama was taking notes. It’s his turn.

Let’s make the Dominion and Alex Jones settlements look like the tiniest of potatoes!
Imagining the tea-spilling convo between Macron and Carney before this went public makes me happy. My favourite bromance 🇫🇷🇨🇦
