#NoKingsDay Protests: A Nationwide Uprising for Democracy, Not Dictators, Happens this Weekend - Here’s What You Need to Know
On June 14, let’s remind Trump — and the world — that the real power in America doesn’t wear a crown. It marches.
On Saturday, June 14, Americans will march in every state to defend a fading idea: that we are a democracy, not a dictatorship. Please share this post with as many Americans as possible.
It’s called No Kings Day, and it’s shaping up to be the largest coordinated protest against Donald Trump’s authoritarian ambitions in years.
Over 1,800 protests are planned nationwide — not just in major cities but in red states, blue states, and everywhere in between. The movement is organized around a simple, defiant message:
“No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.”
Because this isn’t just about Trump’s grotesque, taxpayer-funded birthday parade in DC, it’s about stopping the slow march toward fascism — ICE raids, military deployments against U.S. citizens, threats to deploy Proud Boys and pardoned January 6 insurrectionists, and a president acting like he’s above the law.
June 14 is Flag Day. It’s also Trump’s birthday. But this year, it’s being reclaimed as the day America said, “Hell no.”

Why We're Marching: From LA to DC, the Authoritarian Alarm is Blaring
We’ve reached a tipping point.
In Los Angeles, peaceful protesters were met with military force and ICE raids targeting immigrants and even U.S. citizens.
Trump has deployed over 2,000 National Guard and 700 Marines — not to fight crime, but to intimidate and silence dissent.
Enrique Tarrio, a Proud Boy convicted of seditious conspiracy, was just pardoned — and now offers his group’s “services” to “help” federal forces suppress protests.
Project 2025 — a Trump-endorsed blueprint — outlines plans to fire career civil servants and consolidate power into the presidency.
The Insurrection Act could be Trump’s endgame: declare unrest, declare martial law, and silence us for good.
No Kings Day isn’t just symbolic. It’s a firewall.

The Message: This Is What Democracy Looks Like
“We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.” — No Kings Day Organizers
This isn’t about party lines. It’s about refusing to bow to a man who thinks he’s above the Constitution.
On June 14, the world will watch Trump bask in a parade meant to show how powerful he is. But they’ll also see something else:
Families in Kansas holding signs that say “No Kings.”
Veterans in Ohio marching to honor the republic they swore to defend.
Teens in Atlanta carrying signs that say “Democracy over Dictatorship.”
Survivors of ICE raids and police crackdowns standing shoulder to shoulder in California.
This isn’t performative. This is America defending itself from within.
