I am retired military, and to me, this looks like a hit, not some random guy taking a shot. The minuscule amount of law enforcement on site, tickets required but not scanned, so there is no record of who was actually there, and only one shot which is very telling. The shooter hit his/her target and was done, broke down the weapon and made their way into the crowd, and is now long gone. Now Trump, with his rhetoric that it was the "radical left" being eched by every MAGA, and death threats being made against left podcasters. This feels like an inside job aimed at starting the civil war and distracting from all of Trump's scandals. Everything lines up too perfectly into Trump's insane narrative. I doubt the shooter will ever be identified because Trump's people won't want them identified so they can continue to blame the left.

I totally agree with you. My first thought yesterday when I saw the clip on Dean's substack was: This was a sniper who knew exactly where to hit. One shot in the right spot. Not some radicalized leftie (or rightie for that matter) but an assassin. We may never know the truth of what happened, but we here in the US will certainly feel the repercussions. I guess no one is talking about Epstein now. Is that why Trump called Kirk a martyr??

Bravo for articulating so well what I was thinking. Well crafted language and statements of fact. 👍🏻

1000 % - Dean delivers the facts. Zero 🐂💩

That is why some people have commented that this looks like a "false flag" event. A setup by the radical right to inflame the MAGA and take everyone's attention away from the Epstein papers.

It's how the facts are lining up for me. As I get more info and add it in, it becomes more suspicious.

One shot. That's what snipers do.

And, BTW, lots of ex-snipers in the USA.

After 20 years of war in Afghanistan and Iraq, I am quite certain America has a long list of talented snipers. I am not accusing anyone, just acknowledging that the skill is out there in a lot of people.

That was one helluva shooter. I imagine the FBI is going to the local gun ranges to see who their best shots are. It would be to everyone's benefit if they could solve this crime.

Kirk's mission was to gin up hatred. I am not a crocodile and I am not shedding tears.

From the Wall Street Journal: "Political figures from both parties denounced the attack on Kirk Wednesday, as they should. But for Mr. Trump, while this is a moment of personal sadness, it is also an opportunity for leadership"... "He can say that this is the moment when the descent into political violence must stop, not least in honor of Charlie Kirk’s willingness to win by debate, not a resort to thuggery or violence." I guess Trump isn't paying attention to the WSJ...

Sadly, trump will grab this moment, using this tragedy to fire up those MAGA who are reactors. It is a vicious cycle.

This is exactly the way this should be discussed. Not rhetoric blaming, but facts, such as the expertise needed to make that single shot.

This is such an important point.

Yeah, I agree. Would not be surprising if this is yet another distraction and intentional provocation to create more hatred and division.

The Youth hate MAGA! Officials Recover Rifle and Seek Gunman ‘of College Age’ in Charlie Kirk Killing

A “high-powered bolt-action rifle” was found in a wooded area near the Utah Valley University campus, an F.B.I. special agent said. The shooter is at large and unidentified amid speculation about his motive.

Kirk, 31, played a central role in organizing young voters on behalf of President Trump.

‘A Lot of Blood’: Witnesses Describe the Charlie Kirk Shooting

People in the crowd said that the shot was not very loud and that not everyone had immediately realized what was happening.
