WATCH Trump’s 100-Day Interview Disaster: "You signed up for this when you voted for me!"
Fact Checking Trump's Firehose of Lies, MS13 Photoshop, and Putin Fantasies
When President Trump sat down with ABC’s Terry Moran to crow about his first 100 days, it quickly became obvious we needed to fact-check almost everything he said. It also became evident that Trump lives in a sick SIM of his own imagination.
With boastful bullshit spin, Trump claimed things like “tourism is way up” and “Putin just wants to stop the war,” then proceeded to spin a series of easily debunkable garbage while treating Terry Moran like shit every time Moran fact checked him. We’ve dug into the facts. Here’s the real story – on tourism data, Ukraine peace claims, and that MS‑13 HILARIOULSY low-rent tattoo photo he waved around.
Tourism “Boom” vs. Reality
Trump repeatedly insisted the U.S. tourism industry “is doing great” and would soon break records. Let’s watch together - it’s cute:
The facts disagree. Official data show international arrivals are down, not up. For example, just 7.1 million overseas visitors entered the U.S. in Jan–Mar 2025 – 3.3% fewer than a year ago – and forecasters have flipped their outlook from a +9% gain to a –9.4% drop this year. Airlines and travel analysts report steep declines from key markets:
European and global travel: Customs data indicate international tourist entries fell dramatically – one report found nearly a 12% drop in overseas visitors in March vs. last year. Forward Keys noted bookings from Europe down ~15–27% for some countries.
Canada: By far our largest source market, Canadian tourism is plunging. The U.S. Travel Association notes Canada sent over 20 million visitors in 2024 (spending ~$20 billion), but its citizens are now balking. Forward Keys found U.S.-bound Canadian bookings down around 20% since February 1. A travel industry site reported that March leisure bookings were down around 40% year-over-year, and Canadian government data show car crossings into the U.S. were off by around 32% through March.
Economic impact: A 10% decline in Canadian tourists (20 million visitors) translates to about $2.1 billion in lost spending. In fact, tourism economists warn that if these trends continue, U.S. travel revenue could drop over 10% in 2025 (about $9 billion lost). In short, the “boom” Trump touted looks more like a bust by the numbers.
Even Trump’s quip about Canadians “electing Trudeau because of me” is laughable. Canadians are reportedly avoiding U.S. visits thanks to his tariffs and hostile talk. So when Trump triumphantly says “we’re doing great” on tourism, he’s celebrating a collapse.
Putin “Wants Peace”? Not So Fast.
Next up: Trump’s claim that “I think [Putin] wants to stop the war” in Ukraine and that Trump alone could end it immediately. This is fantasy. In reality, Putin’s public statements and demands make clear Russia isn’t scrambling for peace. In March 2025, Reuters reported that Moscow’s terms for any ceasefire remain draconian – no NATO for Ukraine, no foreign troops on Ukrainian soil, recognition of Crimea, etc. – and that “Putin’s commitment to a ceasefire is still uncertain”reuters.comreuters.com. In other words, he’s willing to talk – but only on Russia’s terms.
Actual Russian sources suggest Putin is not simply waiting for a phone call from Trump. The Guardian notes that even as Kremlin spokesmen try to look “reasonable,” Russia flatly rejected Ukraine’s demand for an unconditional ceasefire, and only offered a short Easter truce to “keep Trump from getting impatient.” Reports say Putin has signaled he’d agree to freeze the front lines (essentially cementing Russian gains) if the U.S. formally accepts all Russian annexations – a ransom that Kyiv and NATO will never pay. One Kremlin insider told The Guardian that Putin is apparently prepared to keep fighting until Russia seizes all of the territories it claims.
Bottom line: Putin’s recent words and actions paint the opposite picture of Trump’s suggestion. Russia hasn’t dropped demands, is still mobilizing troops, and has signaled little genuine urgency to end the war on Ukraine’s terms because Trump is a Russian Asset. The idea that Putin “just wants peace” and Trump could magically snap his fingers to stop the conflict is not supported by any credible evidence – it’s just wishful thinking on Agent Krasnov Trump’s part.
Trump vs. Moran: Tantrums, Sarcasm, and “You’re Not Being Nice”
Throughout the interview, Trump’s tone ranged from condescending to outright rude. ABC’s Terry Moran stayed calm and professional, but Trump often cut him off or snapped at him. For instance, when Moran pointed out ordinary voters saying “I didn’t sign up for this,” Trump barked that “you’re not asking the right questions” and launched into a rant about how he’s been unfairly “persecuted” by “crooked people,” abcnews.go.com. He even told Moran, “I’ve never heard of you,” and complained that the reporter was “not being very nice” – as if Moran was supposed to fawn over him.
When Moran pressed with policy questions, Trump didn’t play nice. Asked if he had “100% confidence” in his own appointee, Trump snapped back, “That’s a stupid question,” asserting, “only a liar would say I have 100% confidence.”
He repeatedly talked over Moran and accused him of asking weak or hostile questions. (Moran, by contrast, never lost his cool – credit to his professionalism.) These outbursts were classic Trump tantrum tactics: when the interviewer refuses to rubber-stamp his talking points, Trump resorts to name-calling and heckling. It’s worth noting that TV viewers saw one of Trump’s rare moments of self-awareness: as the interview grew testy, he quipped that Moran was “not being very nice” – as if he were the victim, told Moran he was doing a disservice by telling the Truth then begged Moran to Just say he say MS13 Tattoos on Mr Abrego Garcia.
For real…
The takeaway here is that none of this would pass for presidential decorum or decency for any human being. Moran’s persistence in fact-checking Trump earned him a scolding instead of an answer. Rather than providing evidence, Trump resorted to mockery (“stupid question”) and personal digs. In short, he lashed out when he couldn’t bully the conversation, and Moran’s composure highlighted the contrast.
The MS-13 Tattoo Photo Debacle
One of the most egregiously hilarious moments? Trump brandishing a photo of Kilmar Ábrego García, a U.S. resident wrongfully deported to El Salvador. Trump claimed the image showed Ábrego with “MS-13 tattooed onto his knuckles,” implying gang membership. But even a quick analysis shows this was nonsense. As CBS News documented, the image Trump posted was a Photoshop mash-up: the letters “M,” “S,” “1,” and “3” were digital overlays added to Ábrego’s actual tattoos, which included a leaf, a smiley face, a cross, and a skull. In reality, he doesn't have an MS-13 tattoo. Many observers immediately noticed that the letters looked typed, not inked – someone even quipped, “Have someone teach you about Photoshop.”
During the ABC interview, Moran politely told Trump flatly: “That was Photoshop.”Trump simply doubled down, refusing to admit the image was falsified. (He also distorted Ábrego’s personal history with unverified MS‑13 rumors.) Independent fact-checkers have repeatedly confirmed the photo was manipulated and that there is no evidence tying Ábrego to MS‑13. In other words, Trump waved around a doctored picture as “proof” – a tactic straight out of the disinformation playbook. The only thing this episode proved was that Trump’s vetting of supposed “evidence” has about the same accuracy as his magic economic claims.
Bottom line: The interview was pure theater and no substance. Trump advanced several demonstrably false or misleading claims – about tourism, Ukraine, and even the supposed Ábrego tattoos – all while lashing out at Terry Moran who was fucking masterful. A monkey with a fucking keyboard could have fact check Diaper don in real time but it was delicious to watch Trump get caught lying for a solid 20 minutes straight. If anything, Terry Moran’s calm and pointed questioning, fact-checking and courage to stay on fact despite Trump’s gaslighting and mockery after getting outed as a bullshit artist was perfect.
Trump’s first 100 days have been a f****** disaster. Unemployment is way up. Consumer confidence is historically low. GDP is shrinking. Social programs and safety nets are gone, along with due process, human rights, and women’s reproductive rights.
And if you voted for him but didn’t vote for “this,” Trump said you did so STFU and eat the MAGA gruel.

His picture is in the dictionary next to the phrase "delusional moron". Incapable of telling one truth, stupid beyond comprehension, unfit for the job.
Thank you for your honest evaluation this so-called president. It was enough to make me want to throw up and scream at the same time. I am praying for impeachment every single day.
