Why did one riding, Acadie- Annapolis go blue when all the rest of Nova Scotia went red❓I ask as someone who volunteered along with 199+ others for Ronnie LeBlanc, the Liberal candidate for Acadie-Annapolis, a super-qualified candidate who worked tirelessly holding functions all over our 9000 sq. km riding. Team Ronnie was dedicated, focused, and we even had Jean Chrétien speak at one rally.
Some folks say it's all about the fisheries issue. But given Ronnie's background in the face of the Con incumbent who basically did nothing in his years in the House to solve the problem, it just doesn't make sense. Conducting post mortems from within is productive but when I think of the difference one more seat in the House of Commons towards Carney's majority could have made, I feel like punching something.
