Excellent news‼️ I commend the Canadians for setting an example for other democracies around the world who are trying to get their bearings in a post-America dominated world order. This is a very positive step, not only for Canada and the EU but for the free world at large. I, for one, could not be happier with this decision and I am hoping that America will eventually get over its isolationist tendencies and get back to the business of nation building, removing obstacles to growth instead of imposing them across the board. I think that will happen at some point in the future but for now the USA is in for some dark and troubling times and we will just have to work this out on our own because the genesis of it is political, not external, and our own dark history is finally catching up with us. Again‼️🤦🏻‍♂️🤬🙄

And the way it looks to be going, you will need to prepare for a militaristic American dictatorship who will try to take you over. You might want to consider a border and configure sub fences, and airport protections. I’m an American and ashamed the way things are going. I don’t know if we will ever be able to restore our country. But that’s not up to you—you need to protect yourselves!

Every country requires reliable allies. Well managed democracies value reliable allies who share core values. Sadly, the current USA Adminstration appears not to understand and not to care about the importance of allies as distinct from master and servant relationships.

Canada is doing the right thing. I admire Carney and what he has accomplished.

Don’t forget Canada, that the American people do not like the current US regime and what it stands for. We are working to correct, but it will take time.

I hope the coalition of the free & bold will be able to welcome you back as a partner — not the self-proclaimed “leader of the free world” sooner than later.

Good luck, we’re truly rooting for you 💪💪🇨🇦🗽

I like to see leaders that do not just praise the US and Israel for attacking Iran's nuclear program. Ukraine still needs our support let us turn our attention there.

Supreme Court for now ALLOWS Trump to deport migrants to ‘third countries’

'IMBICLES AND TRAITORS TO THE USA'

The six conservative justices cleared the way for the Trump administration to deport citizens of other countries to a third nation, temporarily blocking a decision by a lower court judge who said migrants must have a “meaningful opportunity” to contest their removal. The case is one of several testing the Trump administration’s aggressive and racist efforts to ramp up deportations, in this case to conflict-ridden South Sudan. C'MON the SUPREME COURT is deranged and turncoats sheep AUTHRIATARIAN in Nature.

Not only is this great for Canada, but it’s great for all of the Americans who hate Trumplethinskin, Mark Carney is exposing the incompetence and the low class intellect of the clown we have in the Oval Office.

However, PM Mark Carney is doing it with dignity and respect.

What Trump did in Iran makes the threats to Canada and Greenland more likely if Putin orders it in order to grab the Artic. This agreement and buildup seems like a smart idea to me

As a Canadian it is a good feeling to see our PM engaging other countries who share the same values regarding freedom and democracy.

well, well well- we in america have been waiting for some one- ANY one - to stand up to our moronic president and take action!

so sad that no one in this country has the morals to even whisper about doing something.

and now-(i KNEW carney would paddle fat boy's ass) look who has taken charge!

when the announcement came out weeks ago about the presser scheduled in the oval office between the two, i immediately ordered a maple leaf flag.

the day of the meeting when i saw what i knew was going happen, the flag went out that afternoon and has stayed flying on my porch every day since.

i will replace it on the 4th of july for the day but it go back on the 5th.

"admiration and respect for carney" is what i told my maga neighbor when he asked about the flag.

i'm sure it keeps him hot at night and i hope it does.

the nato conference should be a treat to see the 2 of them in the same room but i'll bet trump will avoid him- will be surprised to see if he is even aware of what happened today in this article.

no sleepless nights for donny- not gonna worry about canada- too busy with my own show from iraq.

still in denver

still flying the flag

stay strong, canada!!

Perhaps as Canada and the EU embark on this joint journey, the US will focus on fixing its troubled politics.

In 3 ½ years they'll have a new President, Senate and Congress who will fix the Supreme Court and kill off buying politicians, and insider trading.

The CanEU group will be well on their way to establishing military independence allowing the US to spend 50% of their gargantuan military budget on infrastructure, universal health care, etc.

Haha, just kidding.
