Very important and interesting stuff here today.

Glad to see Canada preparing to defend itself against American aggression. People south of the 49th Parallel are not familiar with Canadian military resilience and strength in several wars. These are the men who took Vimy Ridge, Ortona, Cassino, Juno Beach, the Channel Ports, and Walcheren. They held the ground at Ypres, Amiens, and the Naktong Bulge.

Don't mess with them.

Am I gonna get in trouble because now Leon Muskrat can read my comments online? Will I be shipped off to the gulag in El Salvador, too?

Not just Musk, but also Peter Thiel who is Palantir, and who is also gathering the data of everyone.

Both of those made sizable donations to the DNC as well, millions. This may be the reason such minimal opposition

Perhaps. I think people are overwhelmed. These people have cleverly figured a way around the rules. Those who are still playing by the rules don't know what to do. My daughter has decided with the massive amount of data gathering and selling and stealing the fact that Germany is behind in networking everything, ie medical records, and so a slow bureaucratic country, is a plus. Still terrified for those of us with data in the US for Musk and Thiel to harvest, and sell, and develop algorithms to manipulate everyone. It takes a lot of effort to have good tech safety habits. We see that with Signalgate. None of those people is disciplined enough to do that. Neither am I. It is a work in progress for me.

Yes, along with anyone who runs against the Bloated Yam in 2028...

Nice that you are assuming there will be elections in 2028. After this Abrego Garcia move of ignoring the Supreme Court, with as usual, no consequences, I am assuming there will not be elections in 2026. In fact, I am waiting for Trump to destroy the US enough that it cannot afford a 1 tril military, and loses consequence in the world. Sort of like there was the Roman Empire and now there is Italy.

I am not making that assumption…I have repeatedly said that I do not believe there will be a contested election in 2028.

The Bloated Yam will certainly run.

And win.

Mostly because all of his opponents will join Mr. Abrego in El Salvador prisons, held there on “suspicion of treasonable activities,” or “in protective custody,” or “preventive detention.”

When the Bloated Yam dies in office, President Musk will take the Oath of Office.

That was discussed on Ruth Ben-Ghiat's Zoom call a couple of weeks ago. She was thinking that Trump wants to anoint one of his children to take over. They were thinking maybe Ivanka. We have to focus attention on the Republicans in Congress who are not doing their jobs. Rallying should have their names on signs. Perhaps pick some to focus on.

Also, would be good if we the people and all of the unions joined together with Abrego Garcia's builders union and said we strike until he is brought back.

I think Ivanka doesn’t want it…she said that she was staying out of the 2024 race, and she did.

It’ll be Donald Jr. or Eric…or maybe Barron. He will be a pliable enough adult, and Musk will act as the Regent.

Barron won't be 35. The other sons are such drug addicts and Trump has been known to complain about what F**k-ups they are.

The Republicans trotted out Chinese asset talk out about Tim Walz during the US elections. However, the fascist experts say that Trump is the Chinese asset. I think you should point out that who is helping the Chinese is the Poilevre. People need to understand this.

You should also talk about Jason Stanley, Marci Shore and Timothy Snyder of Yale going to Uni of Toronto. Here is an interview with Jason Stanley talking about what University of Toronto is trying to do.

It is in the chronicle of higher education so you might not be able to read the full story.

Also, apparently University of British Columbia reopened applications deadlines for US graduate students until April 18. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/bc-university-us-applications-1.7508850
