News broke late last night that Paramount had reached a $16 million settlement with Trump over his claim that its subsidiary, CBS, had “deceptively edited” a 60 Minutes interview with Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 election.
“Yeah, it's essentially extortion.”. “Trump has made it clear to Paramount that he's going to hold up their merger unless CBS agreed to settle a completely bogus lawsuit.”
The deal paves the way for Paramount’s merger with Skydance Media.
And this isn’t an isolated incident. ABC settled a similar lawsuit with Trump for $15 million. The billionaire owners of the Washington Post and Los Angeles Times — Jeff Bezos and Patrick Soon-Shiong, respectively — killed their papers’ endorsements of Harris last year.

He is an originator of this mess along with his professor at Berkeley, who started it all and was the inspiration for Yarvin’s book Dark Enlightenment. Can’t remember his name. IMHO, they all knew Trump was imploding and pushed him forward anyway because he was the only one who could carry the election—legally or not They knew then there was a good chance he would not make it through his term and it’s what they want. When Trump passes, JD will take over and be controlled by Thiel from the shadows. I doubt that we will have elections after that. They want a corporate structure in place à la Yarvin’s model. If we do get to vote, it will be pro forma only. It is possible we will see civil war with Trump’s passing or before. Again, IMHO. Be mindful and aware.
