That water to CA comment was all about when he forced some CA dams in Northern CA, well after the fires, to open their gates in January when none of that water could be utilised and thus wasted millions of gallons of water plus flooded some farmers fields. As far as I remember, Trump did give California lots of water. Brilliantly, he gave it from California's own reservoirs and in the north, meaning that it couldn't reach the south where it was needed to put the fires out, with the added bonus that it wouldn't be around when it was really needed in the north this summer for Californian agriculture. Pure Trump brilliance. As brilliant as everything else he's done since becoming president. Well, I suppose that at least the MAGA halfwits think it's brilliant.
I watched this and in retrospect I believe Dump has a hearing problem. That may be part of the reason he rambles on and on - he has no idea what anyone is saying. That and he's a malignant narcissistic nut job. His body language was subservient. My cats do this - he is leaning away and is slightly lowering his body. It's saying please don't attack me. Dump was prey to Carney as predator.
I think the reporters wanted to crank trump up, expecting a show. They kept asking him questions about anything else but the reason why Mr. Carney was there. Mr. Carney’s calmness and composure was top notch and certainly helped keep the temperature low. Also, I think trump respected Mr. Carney because he’s a billionaire.
Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue if Canada agreed to become the 51st state? Republicans would invoke the 25th amendment so fast it would make your head spin, and Trump's base would be fine with it. After decades of Republicans calling Canadians communists, a lot of Americans (the stupid ones) absolutely despise us.
