I don't have much to say today. I am singularly without any anger or disgust--the daily energy to balk at Trump's absence of decency has left me numb. How much more of this skullduggery can we take? How many more shocks to the system can we withstand? I will be all right again tomorrow, but for today, I must rest and not engage for the sake of my humanity (and sanity).
The Democrats are finally voting in as bloc, but the Republicans are scared and will do anything for “dear leader” (thinking he’ll get them reelected). They just don’t understand that he doesn’t give a damn about them, but MAGA hats will threaten them if they don’t obey. Talk about a crime family??
After all of the caterwauling about the “Biden Crime Family” and Comer’s so-called investigations that went nowhere? Now we have the “Trump Crime Family” thumbing their collective noses at the American people—raking in their tainted cash while telling us to tighten our belts. Their GOP enablers are totally complicit in all of this corruption. By all means, take funding away from hungry children, homeless veterans, senior citizens and other Social Security beneficiaries, deprive people of health care, close hospitals, etc., etc., etc. while the already unconscionably wealthy pick over our remains, because of their insatiable greed. MAGAts don't care, Republicans don't care and the DOJ is fine with it. Worst of all, the MSM doesn't care either except for the "click bait" the story generates. We live in a corrupt, morally and ethically deficient society. After this latest $400 million bribe the floodgates will open for Trump and his brood and the toadies surrounding him will be scrambling to get their own "pieces of the pie".
